(2) liability to become involved in Intense and unstable relationships, often leading<br />

to emotional crises 26<br />

(3) excessive effortsto avoid abandonment 48<br />

(4) recurrent threatsor acts of self-harm 59<br />

(5) chronic feelings of emptiness 45<br />

F60.4 Histrionic personality disorders<br />

At least four of the following must be present:<br />

(1) self-dramatization, theatricality, or exaggerated expression of emotions 40<br />

(2) suggestibility(the individual is easily influenced by others or by circumstances)<br />

(4) continual seeking for excitement and activities in which the individual is the<br />
