Note: The Surface Facilities Water Management<br />
Plan (S7.4, p21) states that “The mine water make<br />
water balance has been suitably integrated with the<br />
<strong>Metropolitan</strong> Mine Catchment Monitoring Program<br />
and the <strong>Metropolitan</strong> Mine Long-walls 20-22 Water<br />
Management Plan”. Both the Construction<br />
Management Plan (S5.4.4. p71) and Water<br />
Management Plan (S7.6, p76) include details of the<br />
monitoring program to assess mine water make that<br />
reflect the monitoring specified in the Surface<br />
Facilities Water Management Plan.<br />
The location of the automatic weather station<br />
installed at the <strong>Metropolitan</strong> Colliery at Robertson<br />
Street Helensburgh was assessed by Novecom in<br />
May 2011 and considered representative of the<br />
receiving environment. The weather station includes<br />
wind speed and direction, temperature, (2m and<br />
10m), relative humidity and rainfall.<br />
The main automatic meteorological station is<br />
supplemented with additional weather monitoring<br />
locations:<br />
