INTERNET AND MOBILE BASED<br />

REGULATIONS<br />

Accredited media shall be entitled to report for<br />

normal written journalistic editorial uses within print<br />

and online media.<br />

The media representative must only use scores,<br />

leader boards and statistics for editorial and factual<br />

reporting, unless with the prior written approval of<br />

the <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>.<br />

It will be permissible to publish stand alone scores<br />

and leader boards after an embargo of 30 minutes<br />

from publication on the ‘live scoring’ section of the<br />

<strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> official website, but this must<br />

not be represented as ‘live scoring’. These rights are<br />

owned wholly by the <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>.<br />

The media representative may not digitally<br />

reconstruct any play to create ‘live scoring’ on their<br />

own behalf or by distribution, sale or licence of data<br />

to any third party. Scores, leader boards and/or<br />

statistics relating to the event must not be provided<br />

to mobile telephone operators or any other party<br />

involved in mobile telephony services unless agreed<br />

in writing in advance by the <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>.<br />

Access Provider. Non-rights holding television and<br />

internet broadcasters, provided they hold proper<br />

media accreditation, will have access, with<br />

equipment, to official press conferences held at<br />

designated areas at the tournament as well as<br />

access to applicable media centres at the <strong>LET</strong> event.<br />

Non-rights holders may not film or broadcast any<br />

programming from the golf course at any <strong>Ladies</strong><br />

<strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> event venue on tournament days.<br />

Non-rights holders will have no access to any<br />

<strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> event for any purpose<br />

other than recording interviews on tournament<br />

days. Where there is a rights holder in any country,<br />

any other network from that country must clear<br />

access directly with that rights holder for the terms<br />

on which the access material may be transmitted<br />

in that country.<br />

RADIO REGULATIONS<br />

No more than three (3) minutes of event material<br />

may be featured in any single news<br />

programme/bulletin per transmission hour.<br />

Non-rights holding radio and internet broadcasters<br />

may not broadcast, whether on a live or delayed<br />

basis, any live ‘in play’ commentary from a <strong>Ladies</strong><br />

<strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> event, unless agreed in writing in<br />

advance by the <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>.<br />

Non-rights holding radio and internet broadcasters,<br />

providing they have media accreditation, will have<br />

access to official event press conferences as well as<br />

access to applicable media centres at each venue.<br />

TELEVISION REGULATIONS<br />

Event coverage may be used only in regularly<br />

scheduled bona fide daily news programmes/<br />

bulletins, specifically excluding any magazine,<br />

analysis, feature and/or discussion programmes,<br />

without the prior consent of the <strong>Ladies</strong><br />

<strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>.<br />

For television purposes and for all territories no<br />

more than 120 seconds (2 minutes) of event<br />

material may be featured in any single news<br />

programme/bulletin per day. Access to this<br />

footage is via the <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>’s News<br />
