at the University include: 10 Top-10 finishes; 2005 South<br />
Eastern Conference(SEC) All-Conference First Team<br />
selection; three-time LSWA Louisiana Player of the year<br />
(2005-2007);three-time LSWA All- Louisiana First team<br />
selection(2005-2007). Named Louisiana Sportswomen of<br />
the year (2005-2007) and recorded one win on the 2006<br />
Collegiate Players tour in Louisiana setting the course<br />
record at Pelican Point Golf course with a -7, 65.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
160cm tall, with brown hair and eyes. She started to play<br />
golf in January 1997. Her greatest influences: mother<br />
Colleen Eaton (past pro golfer in SA). Ernie Els and the<br />
Ernie Els Foundation, Karen Bahnsen (LSU Louisiana<br />
State University-college coach), Kevin Kirk and The<br />
Woodlands Performance Center, The Woodlands,<br />
Texas USA. Past financial Sponsor Gaylon Freemon and<br />
credits her current sponsor Glynn Roberts, from Houston,<br />
Texas. Hobbies/interests include sports or any kind of<br />
outdoor activities, working out, shopping, travelling for<br />
vacations, photography and when in South Africa enjoys<br />
the beaches and game reserves. Attended Louisiana<br />

PROFESSIONAL<br />
n In 2012, Martina played in 5 tournaments and<br />
announced her retirement from competition after the<br />
UniCredit <strong>Ladies</strong> German Open presented by Audi to<br />
focus her career in family and Golf Academy. She ended<br />
the season ranked 172nd on the Money List.<br />
n In 2011, Martina made her post-baby comeback at<br />
the season-ending Omega Dubai <strong>Ladies</strong> Masters where<br />
unfortunately she missed the cut after rounds of 77 and<br />
78 (+11 overall). However she believes it was a good<br />
experience having missed competitive golf. She plans<br />
to play in around 10 events in 2012.<br />
n In 2010, played seven events with a season best tie<br />
for 33rd at the Turkish Airlines Open.<br />
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS<br />
n In 2008, won the BMW <strong>Ladies</strong> Italian Open at<br />
Argentario Golf Resort in Tuscany and the Nykredit<br />
Masters at Simon’s Golf Club in Denmark. Finished<br />
runner-up at the S4C Wales <strong>Ladies</strong> Championship,<br />
at Machynys Peninsula G&CC after being defeated<br />
by Lotta Wahlin at the second extra hole of a sudden<br />
death play-off.<br />
n In 2007, collected two trophies in one day on Saturday<br />
6th October 2007: The Madrid <strong>Ladies</strong> Masters and The<br />
18 Finest by Banque Baring Brothers Sturdza SA (an<br />
unofficial season-long competition based on scores from<br />
various specified holes on different golf courses).<br />
