hole to end a stroke behind Stacey Keating); T2nd at the<br />
Gold Coast RACV <strong>Ladies</strong> Masters. Also T4th at the World<br />
<strong>Ladies</strong> Championship, T9th Tenerife Open de Espana and<br />
T10 at the Aberdeen Asset Management <strong>Ladies</strong> Scottish<br />

n In 2011, Luna won two titles on the <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong><br />
<strong>Tour</strong> in 2011: firstly, the UniCredit <strong>Ladies</strong> German Open<br />
presented by Audi at Golfpark Gut Hausern, where she<br />
became the first ever player to play four bogey-free<br />
rounds to win a tournament. Her amazing feat of playing<br />
72 holes without a bogey at Golfpark Gut Hausern near<br />
Munich in Germany was a first on the <strong>LET</strong> and her overall<br />
score was a remarkable 264, 24 under par. She also<br />
Deutsche Bank <strong>Ladies</strong> Swiss Open at Golf Gerre Losone:<br />
one of the most prestigious titles on the schedule. During<br />
the season, Luna recorded six additional top-10 finishes,<br />
including second place at the Lacoste <strong>Ladies</strong> Open de<br />
France, where she lost to Felicity Johnson in a play-off<br />
at Paris International. She tied for seventh at the New<br />
Zealand Women's Open, tied for fifth at the Turkish<br />
Airlines <strong>Ladies</strong> Open and Deloitte Dutch <strong>Ladies</strong> Open<br />
and was joint fourth at the Portugal <strong>Ladies</strong> Open. With<br />
season’s earnings of 223,405.16 euro, she finished fourth<br />
on the <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong>’s 2011 Henderson Money<br />
List, the highest ever ranking by an Italian.<br />
n In 2010, Diana returned to action at the Evian Masters<br />
presented by Societe Generale in late July after the arrival<br />
of her first daughter Elena. She played in six tournaments<br />
with her best finish 2nd at the Open de France Feminin at<br />
Paris International Golf Club where she was defeated by<br />
Trish Johnson at the first play-off hole. She also played in<br />
a testimonial organised by the Italian Golf Federation with<br />
Matteo Manassero.<br />
n In 2009, won the AIB <strong>Ladies</strong> Irish Open supported by<br />
Failte Ireland, at Portmarnock Links, posting three rounds<br />
in the 60s. Claimed her third <strong>LET</strong> title at the SAS <strong>Ladies</strong><br />
Masters at Larvik Golfklubb in Norway the following week.<br />
Posted three additional top ten finishes: second at the<br />
ABN AMRO <strong>Ladies</strong> Open, tied for second at the Open de<br />
Espana Femenino and was 8th at the S4/C Wales <strong>Ladies</strong><br />
Championship. Was a member of the <strong>European</strong> Solheim<br />
Cup Team, where she went 1-0-1 (W-L-H) as a “rookie”<br />
and won her singles match 3&2 against Nicole Castrale.<br />
Competing with Catriona Matthew halved her day-two<br />
four-ball match, earning 1.5 points in total. Diana finished<br />
the season ranked 6th on the Henderson Money List with<br />
earnings of €185,911.21 from 17 events played.<br />
n In 2004, won the Tenerife <strong>Ladies</strong> Open after a brilliant<br />
display in the final round to deny Becky Brewerton on<br />
the final hole.<br />
n In 2001, turned professional and attended <strong>LET</strong><br />
Qualifying School at Aroeira in Portugal.<br />
PERSONAL<br />
173cm tall with long blonde hair and blue eyes. Hobbies<br />
include reading, fitness, travelling, fashion, cinema and<br />
animals. When at home, adores cooking. Also enjoys a<br />
number of sports such as tennis and dancing. Diana is a<br />
voluntary ambassador for the World Food Programme,<br />
the UN organisation that is fighting against world famine.<br />
Diana is married to Orlandini del Beccuto and resides in<br />
Monaco. She trains with Roger Damiano at Golf Club<br />
Cannes Mougins. Represents Conte of Florence. First<br />
child, daughter Elena, born in spring 2010. In 2011,<br />
named "Atleta dell’Anno 2011" by mayor of Rome.<br />
