n In 2012, Tara played in 4 tournaments and her best<br />

result was at the Aberdeen Asset Management <strong>Ladies</strong><br />

Scottish Open presented by EventScotland finishing tied<br />

for 24th place. She ended the season ranked 159th on<br />

the ISPS Handa Order of Merit.<br />

n In 2011, her rookie year on tour, Tara played in 13<br />

tournaments and earned two top 10 finishes: a tie for<br />

5th at the Deloitte Dutch <strong>Ladies</strong> Open and a tie for 7th<br />

at the Lalla Meryem Cup, where she shot a career best<br />

66 in the last round at Golf du Soleil in Agadir. She<br />

finished 79th on the Money List with earnings of<br />

€25,415.00 and comfortably kept her card for 2012.<br />

PROFESSIONAL<br />

After 223 tournaments played over a 17-year-career,<br />

Marie-Laure announced her retirement from professional<br />

tournament golf during the 2004 <strong>Ladies</strong> English Open<br />

at Chart Hills. The 43-year-old from Biarritz, who is an<br />

honorary lifetime member of the <strong>LET</strong>, had won 19 titles<br />

on the <strong>LET</strong> and represented Europe on three occasions<br />

at The Solheim Cup in one of the most decorated careers<br />

in women’s golf. De-Lorenzi joined the <strong>Tour</strong> in 1987 and<br />

won two events in her rookie year and went on to<br />

establish a <strong>Tour</strong> record of winning seven titles in 1988 to<br />

earn the first of two consecutive Order of Merit titles. De<br />

Lorenzi finished in the top ten of the <strong>LET</strong> Order of Merit<br />

a total of ten times during her career. The Frenchwoman<br />

won her national title on three occasions and the last of<br />

her victories came at the 1997 Swiss Open.<br />

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS<br />

Won twice in 1987 - rookie year. Established <strong>Tour</strong><br />

record with seven victories in 1988 to win first of two<br />

consecutive Order of Merit titles. Member of <strong>European</strong><br />

team for inaugural Solheim Cup match 1990.<br />

Represented France in Sunrise Cup World Team<br />

Championship, Taiwan 1992. Won three tournaments in<br />

1995 season. Declined Mickey Walker’s invitation to be<br />

travelling reserve for the 1994 <strong>European</strong> Solheim Cup<br />

side because of lost confidence in her swing. Equalled<br />

<strong>Tour</strong> record for 54 holes tournament with total of 201 in<br />

1995 Staatsloterij Dutch Open. Led the <strong>Ladies</strong> squad to<br />

51 <strong>Ladies</strong> <strong>European</strong> <strong>Tour</strong> <strong>2013</strong>
