As demonstrated in guinea pigs, the treatment <strong>of</strong> MAK 500 mg/kg body wt for two months could augment the<br />
activities <strong>of</strong> antioxidant enzymes. Therefore, MAK could be used in compensating the decline in the activities<br />
<strong>of</strong> antioxidant enzymes in the CNS, thereby reducing the risks <strong>of</strong> lipid peroxidation.<br />
