The herbal mixture Maharishi Amrit Kalash-5<br />
(MAK-5) was tested for antineoplastic properties<br />
against 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)anthracene (DMBA)-<br />
induced mammary tumors in rats. The 0.2%<br />
(w/w) MAK-5-supplemented diet protected<br />
against DMBA-induced carcinogenesis during<br />
the promotion phase by reducing both tumor<br />
