Likes and Dislikes Chart: Student Preferences
Appendix C
When planning reinforcers for instruction and behaviour interventions, teachers and others
need to know the preferences of students. This chart can be used by the family and school to record
the student’s preferred activities, sensory stimuli, edibles, social reinforcers, etc. Such information
changes, and it should be frequently revised to reflect current likes and dislikes of the student.
