Home-School Communication Book<br />
Teachers and families may decide that a home-school communication system needs to be<br />
implemented. Information recorded by the teacher and family should be valuable information to use<br />
in instruction, management of behaviour, or personal care of the student. Teachers and parents can<br />
work together to make a brief list of key questions that should be answered, and agree on the<br />
frequency that they need to be answered and how the communication will travel back and forth. The<br />
form should be designed specifically for the student. The following example is adapted from an<br />
individualized communication book for a Grade 3 student:<br />
