Present Tense – Irregular Verbs with Final “a”<br />

Now we change our focus from verbs with a long vowel a ( ) in the middle of the verb to those with a<br />

long vowel a ( ) at the end of the verb.<br />

1 st Category: Long “a” Becomes Long “i”<br />

In this category, the long vowel a ( ) changes to the long vowel i ( ), with the same prefixes and<br />
