° reinsert the dipstick, then<br />

remove and check the oil level<br />

° add approved engine oil SAE<br />

15W40 (API CJ-4) to the<br />

maximum level marked on the<br />

dipstick<br />

Replacing Fuel Filter<br />

WARNING: When removing<br />

the fuel filter, a quantity of fuel<br />

will escape. Do not smoke or<br />

allow an open flame in close<br />

proximity. Failure to do so<br />

could ignite a fire or cause an<br />

explosion which could result<br />

in serious injury to you and/or<br />

bystanders. Failure to comply<br />

may result in death, personal<br />

injury, equipment or property<br />

damage.<br />

NOTE: The fuel filter and the<br />

hand pump are located on the<br />

left-hand side of the engine.<br />

Removal<br />

1. Air bleed screw<br />

2. Fuel filter housing<br />

3. Fuel filter<br />

1. Loosen the fuel tank cap to relieve<br />

any pressure in the fuel tank.<br />

2. Clean the fuel filter housing (2)<br />

and surrounding area.<br />

CAUTION: Dirt in the<br />

fuel system can lead to<br />

significant damage to<br />

the fuel system. Failure<br />

to comply may result in<br />

equipment or property<br />

damage.
