WATCH has no present programmes directly addressing<br />

girls and women in the entertainment industry. However,<br />

the organisation’s promotion <strong>of</strong> organisations <strong>of</strong> sex workers<br />

has led to the establishment <strong>of</strong> presently active NGOs and<br />

networks, including Society for Women's Awareness Nepal<br />

and Jagriti Mahila Sangh.<br />

entertainment workers, was established through WOREC’s<br />

Chahari Project. Activities: drop-in service facilities; care<br />

girls/women who stay in the entertainment industry, including<br />

rights awareness, peer education, NFE and vocational training;<br />

rescue/withdrawal <strong>of</strong> children and trafficked persons; sex<br />

worker rights and welfare; health concerns; awareness<br />
