Changing a Cue’s Duration

Replacing a Cue’s Media
To change the duration of a cue, drag the bar at the end of the cue. Alternatively,
type the desired duration into the cue’s dialog box (see “Cue Specifications”
on page 140)
◆ NOTE: If you extend the duration of a moving image beyond its natural
duration, it will fill the remainder using the last frame of the movie.
To change the media associated with a cue, drag new media onto the cue. You
can drag either an item from the Media window, or a new media file from your
hard disk.
When replacing media in this way, the cue will lose tween tracks that no longer
apply (eg, any Volume tween track will disappear if you replace a movie with
a still image).
◆ HINT: If you want to replace all instances of a certain media file, you can
change the file association of the item in the Media window instead, as described
under “Changing the File Association” on page 115. Doing so will
affect all cues associated with that media item.
