2 2 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS Production Computer This chapter lists what you need in order to install <strong>WATCHOUT</strong>. The production computer has the following system requirements: • Microsoft Windows 98 or 2000. • 500 MHz or better. • At least 64 MB of RAM. • At least 100 MB of free hard disk space. • Ethernet (100 MBit recommended). • A free USB port. • 15 inch color monitor. • Mouse and keyboard. ◆ NOTE: As the <strong>WATCHOUT</strong> production software is based on Java (JRE 1.3) and QuickTime, we also expect it to run under MacOS X, when available.
