PLANNING
This chapter covers some of the things you should bear in mind before you set
out to create a WATCHOUT presentation. It gives you an overview of potential
uses for WATCHOUT. It also provides some hints on show design and production
techniques.
Application Areas
WATCHOUT is particularly suitable for the following kinds of presentations:
• Corporate presentations. The high resolution and unique formats
supported by WATCHOUT knock out the average computer-based slide
presentation. A WATCHOUT presentation is also easy to revise and
change.
• Speaker support at conferences. With features like fast editing and
automatic updating of the entire system, WATCHOUT is ideal when you
need to make those inevitable last minute changes.
• Trade show displays. The flexibility in terms of display types and
placement gives you unparalleled creative freedom.
• Retail displays. Manage multiple display areas from one central location.
Update or replace individual images and sections to highlight new
products or special offers. Changes are distributed automatically throughout
all store display areas.
• Museums. Integration with Dataton TRAX® or other control systems
means your presentation can be integrated with lighting, sound and even
interactive control. Use existing TCP/IP compatible network wiring to manage
the system.
