The CDM analysis for <strong>the</strong> switching scenario involved interviewing <strong>the</strong> SAP at Barking<br />
and <strong>the</strong> NOC control room operator. In both cases <strong>the</strong> probes defined by O’Hare et al.<br />
(2000) were used to evaluate <strong>the</strong> decision making during <strong>the</strong> scenario. The CDM probes<br />
used are presented in Table 9. For <strong>the</strong> purposes <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> CDM analysis, <strong>the</strong> scenario was<br />
divided into four phases; First issue <strong>of</strong> instructions, deal with switching requests, perform<br />
isolation and report back to NOC. The CDM analysis is presented in Table 10 to Table<br />
13.<br />
