Comments: Although the field <strong>on</strong>ly came <strong>on</strong> stream last Aug, producti<strong>on</strong> has been<br />
disappointing and Premier expects it so<strong>on</strong> to become sub-ec<strong>on</strong>omic – producti<strong>on</strong> will cease in<br />
Q3, according to Sevan. When this happens, Sevan, as owner of the FPSO and its mooring<br />
system, will be resp<strong>on</strong>sible for removing the platform from the field. Premier proposes<br />
retrieving all the subsea equipment but leaving the pipeline, which is trenched and rockdumped,<br />
in place. It recommends retrieving the umbilical in several secti<strong>on</strong>s. Offshore<br />
operati<strong>on</strong>s are expected to take place this year and in summer 2011.<br />

<strong>Field</strong> facilities One subsea producti<strong>on</strong> well, 15km, 6in producti<strong>on</strong> pipeline with<br />
umbilical piggybacked <strong>on</strong> it, to Davy platform.<br />
Producti<strong>on</strong> end 2010<br />
Comments: Silverst<strong>on</strong>e has decided to end producti<strong>on</strong> at Tristan North-West. In the draft<br />
decommissi<strong>on</strong>ing programme submitted in Feb, it proposes retrieving the tree, wellhead,<br />
spoolpieces, jumpers and secti<strong>on</strong>s of the pipeline and umbilical lying above the seabed, while<br />
leaving in place the buried pipeline and umbilical, which is the case for most of their length.<br />
Offshore operati<strong>on</strong>s are scheduled for Aug and Sept. A turnkey decommissi<strong>on</strong>ing c<strong>on</strong>tract has<br />
been awarded to CSL. Helix Well Ops has been subc<strong>on</strong>tracted for well interventi<strong>on</strong>,<br />
aband<strong>on</strong>ment engineering and diving services, using its well interventi<strong>on</strong> vessel Seawell, while<br />
BMT Cordah is resp<strong>on</strong>sible for envir<strong>on</strong>mental management services. In additi<strong>on</strong> to the<br />
producti<strong>on</strong> well, there is a suspended well to be aband<strong>on</strong>ed, which is the 1987 discovery well.<br />
Tristan NW was expected to c<strong>on</strong>tinue producing until 2013, but has performed disappointingly<br />
since it came <strong>on</strong> stream in April 2008.<br />
