Vehicle Identification<br />

Noise Emission Label<br />

The Noise Emission Label contains the chassis serial number, date of manufacture, and information regarding US noise<br />

emission regulations. This label is not provided on Canadian registered vehicles.<br />

Paint Identification Label<br />

The Paint Identification Label contains the paint colors used by the factory to paint the truck. It lists frame, wheels, cab interior<br />

and exterior colors. This label is located either underneath the dash to the left of the steering column support, inside<br />

the glovebox, or on the passenger’s door frame.<br />

COMPONENT IDENTIFICATION<br />

Each of the following components has their own identification label.<br />

Engine Identification<br />

The engine serial number is stamped on a plate located on the left front of the engine. For further information, please refer<br />

to the Engine Operation and Maintenance <strong>Manual</strong> (included in the glove compartment of each vehicle).<br />

Transmission Identification<br />

The transmission identification number is stamped on a tag affixed to the right forward side of the transmission case. It<br />

includes among other specifications the transmission model, serial, and part number.<br />
