An entire test setup including a Controller (often a PC),<br />
instruments, interfaces, software, and any remote<br />

An operating system object that consists of a flow of<br />
control within a process. A single process may have<br />
multiple threads, each having access to the same data<br />
space within the process. Each thread has its own stack,<br />
and all threads may execute concurrently (either on<br />
multiple processors, or by time- sharing a single<br />
