APPENDIX L: FOSTER CARE COMMITTEE REPORT<br />
• Utilize existing foster parents <strong>of</strong> adolescents to identify / recruit additional resources<br />
• Develop wraparound services to support adolescent placements;<br />
• Enhance board rate for adolescents;<br />
• Develop support services through <strong>RI</strong>FPA’s Life Skills Program<br />
• Provide specialized training, pre-service and in-service, for foster parents <strong>of</strong> adolescents<br />
• Encourage relative and child specific foster parents <strong>of</strong> adolescents to continue service<br />

• Conduct targeted recruitment activities with staff at high schools, athletic programs; youth<br />
