Inquiries<br />
In addition to consumer complaints, the <strong>Commission</strong> is responsible for collecting<br />
and compiling all inquiries concerning public utilities. The <strong>Commission</strong>’s staff receives<br />
numerous requests for information relating to utilities and transportation carriers. As<br />
shown in the table below, the <strong>Commission</strong> received a total of 917 inquiries in the Fiscal<br />
<strong>Year</strong>, mostly relating to motor carriers.<br />
