8.6 Maintenance of groups
The delivery group is the main mechanical component of the machine. It requires regular maintenance. This
maintenance requires the group to be removed.
To replace the delivery groups, proceed as follows:
1. Open the upper cover.
2. Disconnect the electrical plug located in the outer part of the group.
3. Disconnect the water delivery tube at the rapid connection.
4. Disconnect the silicon tube connected to the output of the group head.
5. Open the grounds drawer, and use a 10 mm spanner to loosen the four bolts that hold the group to the machine
frame.
6. Remove the disconnected group from the top of the machine.
When removing one or both groups, it is not necessary to shut down the machine, bleed the pressure in the boiler
or shut off the incoming water.
In this way, in a machine with two groups, while one group has been removed for replacement or repair, the other
can continue to provide available services
The push button panel for the removed group will automatically be disabled when the electrical plug of the group is
disconnected (point 2).
