CHILDREN’S LITERATURE:<br />

of literature for adults who work<br />

literacy and appreciation for<br />

literary heritage. This course<br />

cannot be used to satisfy<br />

either the Gordon Rule or<br />

NFCC’s literature/humanities<br />

requirement for transferable<br />

A comprehensive survey that<br />

to Renaissance literature.<br />

LIT 2120. WORLD<br />

LITERATURE II: Three<br />

Credits, Three Hours. (On<br />

Demand) A comprehensive<br />

survey that deals with the major<br />

works of the Western literary<br />

heritage. The reading selections<br />

range from the works of the<br />

Enlightenment Period to those<br />

of the Modern Era. This is not a<br />

sequel course and may be taken<br />

without having taken LIT 2110.<br />

LIT 2931R. SPECIAL TOPICS<br />

IN LITERATURE: Three<br />

Credits, Three Hours. (On<br />

Demand) Provides intensive<br />

reading in particular concept,<br />

topic or genre of popular literary<br />

appeal. Examples include<br />

women in literature, fantasy,<br />

science ction, horror, literature<br />

and lm, the historical novel. It<br />

may be repeated for credit with<br />

a change of topic. Prerequisite:<br />
