Immediate Suspension or Expulsion
The College recognizes that there may be times when the institution needs to respond immediately to
situations which the Dean of Enrollment Services deems a direct and imminent threat to the safety of
expulsion from College property is warranted, the student can appeal directly to the Student Grievance
Committee. The president of the College or designee shall be the nal appeal, but only after the
prescribed grievance process through the Student Grievance Committee has been exhausted. The
president or designee shall review the matter and decide what action, if any, should be taken.
the Student Code of Conduct. Any of these penalties may be imposed on a student, a group of students,
or a student organization.
The Dean of Enrollment Services shall notify the student, in writing, the speci c details of the penalties.
A copy is to be maintained in the student’s of cial College record. The student shall be informed that
