The goal of this program is to prepare the student for leadership roles in their employment in the eld
of criminal justice and to enable current employees in these elds to update their education and skills
to better prepare themselves for advancement in their respective elds. This is a terminal degree,
not automatically transferable to four-year institutions. Successful completion of the Florida Criminal
Justice Standards and Training Commission approved basic recruit program in either law enforcement or
corrections is a required course for this degree program.
