ASSEMBLY
Before assembling the Booth 3-Ring release system, make sure the risers aren’t twisted or reversed. Lay the Vector 3
face down, as you would to pack it.
1. Thread each reserve cutaway cable into its housing and fasten the handle to the harness. The handle should be
positioned as close to the ends of the
housings as possible so that little or no cable
is exposed.
2. With the rings of the riser facing toward
the floor, pass the ring on the end of the riser
(middle ring) through the large harness ring
from above. Fold it back toward the canopy
and risers.
3. Thread the smallest ring through the
middle ring in the same way, but make
sure it doesn’t pass through the large ring.
A) Rigs without RSL: each yellow cable should
extend about 6 inches (15.2 cm) past the
housing ending.
B) Rigs with RSL: the right (RSL) side yellow
cable should extend 7½ inches (19.1 cm) past
the housing ending. The left (non RSL) side
should extend 5½ inches (14 cm) past the
housing ending.
