NAE Cycle E10 included an ATOVS change to commence assimilation of NOAA-18 data
(successfully assimilated in the Global Model since mid-August 2005).
Figure 5 below shows the increased data coverage in a typical NAE assimilation cycle when
NOAA-18 is added.
