For example, said Ms. Prelvukaj, children are extremelyobedient of what <strong>the</strong>ir parents demand from <strong>the</strong>m."It's a quickly-grow<strong>in</strong>g program and it's an important country and a grow<strong>in</strong>g culture," said Russell Davis,CUNY Ch<strong>in</strong>a Programs coord<strong>in</strong>ator for <strong>the</strong> City University of New York.Davis said <strong>the</strong> trip is an "eye-opener" for <strong>CSI</strong>'s students, yet, Shanghai is a lot like New York City."It's a good, low-cost quality program that really plugs you <strong>in</strong>to <strong>the</strong> culture," <strong>the</strong> professor added."Everyone should do it," said Ms. Prelvukaj.Study<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> Ch<strong>in</strong>a through College of Staten IslandStudents who recently returned came back enthusiastic about <strong>the</strong> experience.Who is eligibleStudents with a grade-po<strong>in</strong>t average of 2.5 and with a semester already completed are welcome toparticipate <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> month-long experience.
