Schaefer was named <strong>the</strong> ECAC Upstate Men's LacrosseOffensive Player of <strong>the</strong> Week.Kaye, a senior for <strong>the</strong> 3-0 Hawks, received <strong>the</strong> honor for <strong>the</strong> second time. She also earned <strong>the</strong> awardApril 8, 2009 follow<strong>in</strong>g a 21-save effort <strong>in</strong> a 9-7 w<strong>in</strong> over Ohio Wesleyan.This past week, Kaye made 13 saves, scooped four groundballs and had a 76 percent clear<strong>in</strong>g rate <strong>in</strong> a 17-11 Hartwick w<strong>in</strong> over Marywood. She <strong>the</strong>n made three saves, allow<strong>in</strong>g one goal <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Hawks' 19-2 w<strong>in</strong>over Maritime on Saturday.Schaefer, a freshman with <strong>the</strong> 3-1 Hartwick men's team, scored his college high of seven goals, and hadan assist and three groundballs <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Hawks' 15-8 victory over Farm<strong>in</strong>gdale State on Saturday. He alsohad two goals, three assists, and four ground balls <strong>in</strong> 'Wick's 11-5 w<strong>in</strong> over Cobleskill on Thursday.Page 86 of 179
