Popular amongfans were <strong>the</strong> recent Robert Downey/Jude Law movie "Sherlock" and <strong>the</strong> BBC series that places <strong>the</strong>characters <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> 21st century, with Holmes, orig<strong>in</strong>ally a smoker, now wear<strong>in</strong>g a nicot<strong>in</strong>e patch.Mrs. Kitts collects Holmes rubber stamps – she has about 50 – and also owns about 75 editions of "TheNight Before Christmas" by different illustrators.As a youngster, she devoured Nancy Drew mysteries; her husband was <strong>in</strong>to sports, and Mickey Mantle washis hero. Their parents weren't Holmes fans, nor are <strong>the</strong>ir two grown children"But we notice some <strong>in</strong>terest from our three grandchildren, which we'll def<strong>in</strong>itely try to foster," said <strong>the</strong>couple.And if she were to meet Sherlock?
