Under the hoodPossible displaysAdding engine oilAdd a maximum of 1 US quart/1 liter of engineoil only after until the following warning lamplights up in the instrument cluster or the oil leveldisplay reads "+1l".1 Oil level OK2 Oil level is being checked.This can take about 3 minutes if the car is ata standstill on a level surface, or about5 minutes while the car is on the move.3 Oil level down to minimum:Add engine oil as soon as possible, but nomore than 1 US quart/1 liter, refer also toAdding engine oil on page 124.4 Oil level is too high.Too much oil will harm the engine.Have the vehicle checked withoutdelay.
