ClimateAir flows out of the vent outlets for the upperbody region. Open them for this purpose.Air is cooled as quickly as possible> Above an outside temperature of approx.327/06> When the engine is runningAUTO programPress the button.Air volume, air distribution andtemperature are controlled automatically.Depending on the selected temperature, AUTOintensity and outside influences, the air isdirected toward the windshield, the side windows,the upper body, and the footwell.Pressing the AUTO button automaticallyswitches on the cooling function.At the same time, a condensation sensor controlsthe program so as to prevent window condensationas much as possible.The program is switched off when the air distributionis set manually or the button is pressedagain.Intensity of the AUTO programWith the AUTO program switched on, automaticcontrol of the air volume and air distributioncan be adjusted:Press the left side of the button toreduce the intensity. Press theright side of the button to increaseit.The selected intensity is shown on the displayof the automatic climate control.Press the left side of the button toreduce air volume. Press the rightside of the button to increase it.The air volume may be reduced or the blowermay be switched off entirely to save on batterypower. The display remains the same.Automatic recirculated-air controlAUC/Recirculated-air modeYou can respond to unpleasant odors or pollutantsin the immediate environment by temporarilysuspending the supply of outside air. Thesystem then recirculates the air currently withinthe vehicle.Press the button repeatedly toselect an operating mode:> LED off: outside air flows in continuously.> Left-hand LED on, AUC mode: a sensordetects pollutants in the outside air andcontrols the shut-off automatically.> Right-hand LED on, recirculated-air mode:the supply of outside air is permanentlyshut off. If the windows fog over, switch offrecirculated-air mode and increase the airvolume, if necessary. Make sure that air canflow onto the windshield.The recirculated-air mode should not beused continuously for lengthy periods;otherwise, the quality of the air inside the carwill gradually deteriorate.
