82scale aggregate piers to feature a void ratio value of 0.33 and dry unit weight of 2,100 kg/m 3(Pham and White, 2007). Thus, knowing the target parameters, a direct shear test wasperformed on the scaled aggregate mix sample where density and void ratio values weredetermined.
