Bachelor’s degree programs in mathematicsprepare students with diverse career goals by developing rigorous,logical thinking; an appreciation and familiarity with complexstructures and algorithms; and the ability to learn technicalmaterial and abstract concepts. Students are strongly encouragedto complete an Associate in Arts or Associate in Sciencedegree prior to transfer into a baccalaureate Mathematics program.Since admission is competitive, completing the coursesrecommended below does not by itself guarantee admission.I.
