El.Climbs the pillar <strong>and</strong> loose overhang<strong>in</strong>g headwall at the right end <strong>of</strong> the crag. Startbeh<strong>in</strong>d a silver birch on a ledge up <strong>and</strong> right <strong>of</strong> the start <strong>of</strong> The Buzzard.(5b). Step left <strong>and</strong> climb a groove to the left side <strong>of</strong> a tree, conta<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g a large nest,below the headwall. Straight up to the top, as forBird Bra<strong>in</strong>. El.Start from an obvious rock step below a steep reddish groove with a prom<strong>in</strong>ent "bite"out <strong>of</strong> the left arete.5b. Climb the groove via two suspect blocks, exit right onto ledges. Move up to a crackwhich leads to a bulge. Climb the bulge <strong>and</strong> groove above, then move left to f<strong>in</strong>ish at thehighest po<strong>in</strong>t <strong>of</strong> the wall. From the right h<strong>and</strong> end <strong>of</strong> the large block, pull up onto a slop<strong>in</strong>g ledge <strong>and</strong> moveleft onto the arete. Climb the overhang strenuously to a rest<strong>in</strong>g place 25ft above <strong>and</strong>leftwards.
