Climb the right-h<strong>and</strong> one to thehorizontal fault <strong>and</strong> go through the overhangs at the obvious weakness to a peg on theleft. Move right <strong>and</strong> up to fa<strong>in</strong>t flakes which are climbed to Gr<strong>and</strong> Prix. Move back leftto a peg <strong>and</strong> cont<strong>in</strong>ue left to an undercl<strong>in</strong>g which enables the diagonal crack <strong>and</strong> then thetop to be reached. E4.Follows the rightward-slant<strong>in</strong>g crack just above <strong>and</strong> parallel to the crack <strong>of</strong> Redexwhich term<strong>in</strong>ates at the large obvious ro<strong>of</strong> between the upper grooves <strong>of</strong> GTX <strong>and</strong>Redex.1. 80ft. 5b. Follow the crack rightward cross<strong>in</strong>g the horizontal fault l<strong>in</strong>e until a step rightcan be made at the tree. Belay on the right.2. 60ft. 6a. Climb up to ga<strong>in</strong> a good h<strong>and</strong>hold on the large flake beneath the ro<strong>of</strong>. Use thelarge undercl<strong>in</strong>g right <strong>of</strong> the flake to <strong>in</strong>itiate difficult moves across <strong>and</strong> round the lip <strong>of</strong>the ro<strong>of</strong> to ga<strong>in</strong> ledges above. Climb straight up the rib above <strong>and</strong> move left at the top toa crack. Nut belays, two spikes up <strong>and</strong> right.R.Smith, J.Earl (alt leads). 7/6/85.
