Thesebudgets use the estimate of four employees, 12 hours per day operation, 5 days per week, locatedon 15 acres of rented land zoned agricultural, and the ability to handle 300,000 green tons peryear. Table 33 shows estimated expenses for operating this concentration yard.The total expenses are estimated to be about $500,000 per year to operate thisconcentration yard. To estimate the impact in cost per ton, some assumption of total tons mustbe assumed.92
