Computerization of Administration and the Process of Admissions andExamination Results, Issue of Certificates:• Important administrative offices such as Admission Office, Student RecordsOffice, Examination Office, Bursar’s Office, Alumni & Public Relations Officeetc. are fully computerized and function efficiently to cater to the needs of thestudent community.• Student profile and marks are computerized and this enables the college topublish the results on time and issue the certificates without any delay.26. Increase in the infrastructural facilities:Staff strength Martin Hall, the residential facility for women students, got a newextension block ‘Jubilee Block’ in July <strong>2005</strong>. The hall now has a new Hall office,Auditorium, Guest Rooms, and Library. Currently, the student strength is 167 and thefaculty strength is four.27. Technology up-gradation:• Internet connectivity, scanners, projectors, fax machine, TV with dish antenna,PA systems, and Wi-Fi connections are available in the campus. Computer labsare centralized in Halls. Teleconferencing facilities is available in selecteddepartments.• Library is equipped with Digital media (CD, DVD) to disseminate knowledge.• Student Service for the Blind has acquired a scanner for the purpose oftransferring printed material to readable format. Mr. Sathoshi Nakano of Japanhas donated a Braille label maker to SSB.28. Computer and internet access and training to teachers and students:All the departments have computing facility with printers and other accessories. Inaddition to this teachers and students have two separate computer centres with internetconnection. Periodical training is given to teaching and non-teaching staff to acquaint35
