S. Roth from stoichiometric mixtures of theoxides of lanthanum, niobium, and titanium.The sample was first heated at 1300 °C for 3 hrand then heated at 1350 °C for 3 hr. Spectrographicanalysis of the original oxides showed noimpurities greater than 0.05 percent.The sample was colorless. The refractiveindices could not be determined because thesample was too fine.The d-values of the three strongest lines are:3.444, 3.331, and 3.306 i.Structural data. P.
