Most processors,however, indicate maximumand/or minimumBrix acceptance limits. Grapes testing above or below these limits may be subject to price renegotiation, acceptance for use other than for tablewine, or rejection by the processors. Discounts for high sugar apply to both base price and bonus unless otherwise stated. There are factors other than Brix, such as material other thangrapes (MOG), defects, weight loss in late harvest grapes, and sugar/acid ratios that affect grape prices.
