KidSpace<br />
KidSpace is a drop in child care program for children ages<br />
6 weeks to 13 years of age. KidSpace can be found at<br />
<strong>Columbia</strong> Athletic Club, <strong>Columbia</strong> Gym, Supreme Sports<br />
Club and on a limited basis at <strong>Columbia</strong> Swim Center. Child<br />
care is provided while parents are utilizing these facilities.<br />
Amenities, which are tailored to each facility may include:<br />
kid-sized arenas, computers, a rock wall, climbing ropes, stateof-the-art<br />
games and equipment. A variety of activities are<br />
offered daily that may include art, music, dramatic play and<br />
various physical activities and games. Families with KidSpace<br />
may utilize up to two hours per day per family. KidSpace memberships<br />
must be added to individual gym or all Package Plan<br />
type memberships. Some fees and restrictions apply.<br />
Youth Members<br />
Your youngsters’ safety is our top priority. That’s why<br />
members must be 14 or older to use free weight equipment<br />
and exercise classes. Members between the ages of 11 and 13<br />
(and 4 ’11’’tall) may complete a complimentary Youth<br />
Certification Clinic (see page 41 for details) and be accompanied<br />
by a parent or guardian or be participating in a camp or<br />
clinic if they wish to use the fitness areas.<br />
Financial Assistance Programs<br />
<strong>Columbia</strong> <strong>Association</strong> encourages everyone to be part of it.<br />
Discounts are available, and earn-a-membership opportunities<br />
are available to income-qualified <strong>CA</strong> residents and teens.<br />
If your income and family size fall within the <strong>guide</strong>lines<br />
listed below, you may be eligible for a discount on your<br />
membership. For more membership information, please call<br />
the Membership Service Center at 410-730-1801 (located<br />
downtown <strong>Columbia</strong> on the lakefront). A representative<br />
will be happy to talk with you.<br />
<strong>Columbia</strong> <strong>Association</strong> Income Guidelines<br />
<strong>Columbia</strong> <strong>Association</strong> Low/Moderate Income Guidelines are based on federal<br />
<strong>guide</strong>lines developed by HUD. Reduce rate off new member price and can not<br />
be combined with any other discount or offers. Valid until 4/30/13.<br />
