Residents of <strong>Columbia</strong> live in one of nine<br />

villages or Town Center, commonly<br />

referred to as 10 villages, each striving to<br />

create its own sense of community. Within<br />

each village are neighborhoods with names<br />

drawn from history or literature. Each village<br />

and Town Center has a community<br />

association, formed exclusively to promote<br />

common good and welfare. In the community<br />

centers you will find classes for<br />

children to mature adults and space to<br />

rent for meetings, parties and special<br />

events. The community associations sponsor<br />

free seminars, political forums, fairs and<br />

holiday parties. Most events are open to<br />

all residents of <strong>Columbia</strong>, regardless of the<br />
