firmly structured with a chocolaty finish. The
VENETO
GODÓ 2008
IGT Rosso Veronese
(Remo Farina)
Designed for enjoyment within the first three years
after the vintage, this blend of mostly Corvina with
local and international varieties in support is aged
strictly in stainless steel to retain the wine’s bright
fruitiness. This is a red that will even reward a light
chill (15 minutes) before enjoying with grilled
gourmet sausages or hamburgers.
LUIGI RIGHETTI CAMPOLIETI RIPASSO
VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE
2008
DOC
Campolieti means “happy fields,” a very
appropriate name considering the high quality of
the grapes used in this wine. Only happy vines
could produce wines this good. Righetti’s ripe,
rich and fruity Campolieti Ripasso is delicious
with lamb or beef dishes.
REMO FARINA RIPASSO VALPOLICELLA
CLASSICO SUPERIORE 2007
DOC
Ripasso (or “re-passing”) involves fermenting the
wine a second time on dried Amarone grapes.
This process deepens the wine’s colour, body,
aroma, taste and ageability. Farina’s Ripasso
features aromas of pepper spice, licorice, cherries,
and ginger, all contributing to a medium-bodied,
long-finishing wine. Try it with grilled veal chops
and herbed tomato salad.
ITALY – ROSÉ WINE
VENETO
SANTA MARGHERITA
MERLOT/CABERNET
CUVÉE ROSÉ 2009
IGT Veneto
This fine Merlot/Cabernet rosé blend from Santa
Margherita is pretty in pink with aromas of strawberry,
lime and cherry. It’s dry and fresh, with
fine fruit tones chiming in on the mid-palate to
give this wine very good balance. Try it with a
variety of fish dishes.
