Thebuilding will provide a whole new form of living, which willnaturally have more quality, but will also be more expensive.However, I feel that it’s high time for Split to get itselfgoing forward, away from rumours of illegal construction,coast devastation and failed projects…You used to prefer a maximalism style, but recently youhave taken up enlightened minimalism. What makes thedifference between those two styles and how do you goabout choosing the manner in which you will decoratea space?A space needs to be sensed the first time you see it, asyou go about observing all its positives and negatives.You need to visualise it in your head and stick with thatoriginal idea, along with some modifications, until thevery end – that is the procedure I have used until nowand I am yet to make a mistake. I can’t talk about preferringcertain styles as every object is different, whichleads to thinking that one object needs to be done inmaximum-bordering fashion, while another object representssomething completely opposite.How do you choose details? Why must you keep them asecret till the very end?I can’t say that I keep details a secret, but I simply feelthat the easiest way of choosing them is to observe thespace when it is completed. You take one last look at itand you choose the most appropriate details.51
