FIBERGLASS HOT STICKSStandard SpecificationsThere are a variety of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic(FRP) constructions used for hot sticks. Included arefoam filled tubular sticks used for all products requiringsolid construction. Other product applications requirehollow tubular sections. Both of these processes meetASTM F711 Standard Specifications for FRP and tubeused in live line tools.Foam filled hot sticks are manufactured using thepultrusion process. Hollow hot sticks are producedusing a winding or wrapping process.
