LINE HOSEEXTENDED LIP SU SYSTEMThe Extended Lip SU System is the onlycomplete flexible cover-up available foruse on voltages through 34.5kV. Extremelyversatile, it may be installed byhand, wearing rubber insulating gloves,from an insulated aerialdevice or platform, or withhot sticks using the SUapplicators.Manufactured from superiorSALCOR® Type II elastomer, it isresistent to the effects of ozone andultraviolet deterioration. It remains flexibleeven at sub-zero temperatures.SU150-3CSU150-45Salisbury’s RIB GRIP® constructionsecurely interlocks with its correspondingcovers and connectors. Tapered lipsfacilitate easy starting on the conductors. Thecontour cut ends accommodate the skirts ofpin type insulators and permit the hose to coverthe line snug to a saddle or clamp.Available as Straight Line Hose or with aConnector End for easier connection ofline hose and covers. A lifting eye ismolded on the connector end for removalwith hot sticks. Line hose is also availablewith the #2323 Shot Gun Eye Assembly.Just add a suffix of “E” to the catalognumber to order the #2323 Shot GunAssembly installed on the hose or orderthe #2323 separately.SU System Connectors are made fromorange SALCOR Type II. RIB-GRIPconstruction is used to ensure a stronglock to the straight lengths of SU SystemLine Hose and covers.
