LINEMEN’S SLEEVESDippedRubber Insulating Sleeves extend coverage of the armfrom the cuff of rubber insulating gloves to the shoulderfullyprotecting these areas from accidental contact withenergized conductors and equipment. Salisbury sleevesfeature a reinforcing fold at the cuff. This fold is preferredover a rolled bead because it adds less bulk to thecuff and fits into the glove easier without pushing. Twodifferent processes are used to manufacture insulatingsleeves; dipping and molding. Both meet the currentrequirements of ASTM D1051 and offer the same highlevel of quality and protection.Dipped sleeves are manufactured in the same way asSalisbury rubber insulating gloves. Porcelain forms aredipped into liquefied rubber, dried, trimmed, marked andcured. Every sleeve receives the same quality inspectionsand electrical testing before shipping. Dipped sleeves areavailable in the same colors as dipped gloves, includingtwo color combinations.Salisbury is the only manufacturer that offers threepopular style of dipped lineman’s sleeves: straight, curved, and extra-curved. All styles are available in every color orcolor combination, size, and voltage class. Most importantly, all are made to the same rigid levels of qualitydemanded by Salisbury.Extra-Curved ArmD2LYR-ECCat.
