TheGrade 2 hot stick eye allows this cover to be placedand removed with a shotgun type clamp stick or withrubber gloves. To secure in place use the elastic tiedowncord. This cover can be used on overhead orunderground energized cable terminators, potheadsor while inverted, on lightning arrestors. It ismade from an orange UV resistant Type I polyethyleneplastic. The Grade 2 hot stick eye allows thiscover to be applied and removed with a hot stick orwith rubber gloves. It covers metal or fiberglassbrackets 8-12” long and pole mounting plates. Thiscover also interlocks with a pole insulator. Themaximum exposure voltage is 26.4 kV*.The Underground Distribution Elbow Covercovers primary elbows and spade terminals duringroutine maintenance. It covers up to the face plateand cable connection. This cover is made fromorange Type I polyethylene plastic. The Grade 2 hotstick eye allows this cover to be applied and removedwith a hot stick. This cover self locks for a secure fitin confined areas. The bead can be trimmed in thefield to meet clearance requirements.
