These guardseasily slide over the upper insulator onopen substation switches and lock overthe bus. Jaw Guards are made from TypeI UV resistant plastic. This guard has avoltage rating of 26.4 kV*.The 24219 Switch Jaw Cover provides aninsulated barrier to the energized upper switchjaw and insulator, when work is being done onthe switch blade, lower insulator, or other deenergizedequipment ahead of the openswitch. This guard slides easily over theupper insulator on open substation neutraldisconnect cabinet switches and locksover the bus.
